George Pataki: Elections Show Americans Want Obamacare Repealed
Former New York Gov. George Pataki, who has an eye on the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, cheered Tuesdays election results. Pataki, who heads up Revere America, has been active in Florida backing Marco Rubios bid for the U.S. Senate, and Republican congressional candidates Steve Southerland, Allen West, Sandy Adams and Dan Webster.
The people have sent an unmistakable message, said Pataki, who has led petition efforts to repeal new health-care laws backed by President Barack Obama. They have had enough of burdensome regulation. They want control over their health care and they want broad-based, common-sense reform that has widespread support. We will look to these new legislators for leadership in repealing and replacing a policy of questionable constitutionality.
