George LeMieux Turns His Fire to Obama and Bill Nelson

After spending Wednesday exchanging fire with GOP primary rival U.S. Rep. Connie Mack, Republican Senate hopeful former U.S. Sen. George LeMieux shifted his focus onto the Democrats on Thursday -- namely President Barack Obama and incumbent U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, who are campaigning in South Florida on Thursday.

"The conversation between President Obama and Senator Nelson about how their failed policies hurt Florida must be very awkward, LeMieux said. Florida's unemployment rate is hovering near 10 percent and the state makes up 24 percent of home foreclosures in the nation. Regardless of Nelsons claims of independence, he votes with the president 98 percent of the time and has no choice but to own the failures of the Obama administration."
