George LeMieux, Mike McCalister Rap Bill Nelson Over Marco Rubio 'Tip'
Two more Republican candidates joined the growing chorus criticizing Sen. Bill Nelson's use of office staff to jab fellow Sen. Marco Rubio.
Commenting on Sunshine State News' story about Nelson spokesman Dan McLaughlin alerting a Florida newspaper to an opinion poll on Rubio, George LeMieux's campaign spokeswoman Anna Nix said:
"Bill Nelson isnt going to pull his approval ratings up by pushing Senator Marco Rubio down. Nelsons approval ratings clearly show Floridians think its time for a change in the U.S. Senate.
"The people of Florida are unhappy with Nelson and want a senator who will boost the economy and get Americans back to work, not one who votes to raise taxes and requests wasteful earmarks."
Mike McCalister said:
"The people of Florida would be better off if Senator Nelson spent less time worrying about Marco Rubio and more time helping Floridians get back to work."
