Frederica Wilson Concerned about Impact of Lengthy Ballot

U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Miami Gardens, is expressing concern that the lengthy ballot in Miami-Dade County may detract some voters in her district.

A release from the congresswomans office noted the ballot in Miami-Dade County is 10 pages long, written in three languages, and people have waited three hours or more at some precincts.

We must ensure that everything possible is being done to ensure that people are allowed to vote. Florida has a history of voting irregularities and we must not have a repeat of the 2000 election fiasco, Wilson stated in the release.
