Former AG McCollum Joins DC Law Firm

Former Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum has joined Washington, D.C., law firm SNR Denton as part of its new "State AG practice." Former Indiana Attorney General Jeff Modisett will join SNR Denton's Los Angeles branch.

According to a release from SNR, the ex-AGs, along with other lawyers with experience in state attorneys general offices, contribute to a practice that "offers clients a proactive team with direct experience in managing the nuances of an attorney general matter, spotting trends ahead of poetnetial investigations, responding to investigative inquiries and meeting the challenges of litigation where law, policy and politics converge."

McCollum served for the past four years as Florida attorney general before losing out in the 2010 Republican gubernatorial primary to the current governor, Rick Scott.
