Florida Tea Party Group to Push Second Amendment Issues at Star Wars Premiere

A Florida Tea Party group plans on using the force to inform Star Wars premiere attendees of their Second Amendment rights. 

According to the East Orlando Post, the East Side Tea Party will be heading to Regal Cinemas in Waterford Lakes, one of Orlando's busiest movie theatres, during the opening night of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. 

Tea Party activists will be handing out leaflets which suggest gun-free zones, like movie theatres, have been targeted for mass shootings because they are areas with no guns. The group said it planned to stay in the theatre until it was removed.

Regal Entertainment Group said this summer it would be checking bags before movies in the wake of several mass shootings in movie theatres, which has been fiercely criticized by conservative groups.
