Florida TaxWatch Shows Benefits of University Research Parks

Florida TaxWatch released a report on Friday which shows the nine university research parks in the Sunshine State, more than any other state, create jobs, help startups and grow the economy.

"Florida's university research parks help create jobs, and our state should continue to invest in and develop their resources to grow and diversify the state economy," said Dominic Calabro, the president and CEO of Florida TaxWatch.

"Florida's university research parks help companies partner with the resources of the state's top talent and research," said Jerry Parrish, Florida TaxWatchs chief economist and the author of the report. "By matching our state's research capabilities with successful growing businesses, the research parks can foster continued STEM development in Florida."
