Florida Ranks No. 1 for Renewed Consideration Post-Recession

Area Development Magazineis a national trade publication that recognizes economic development around the country. According to a press release from Gov. Scott's office, the editors from Area Development "surveyed a selected group of highly respected location experts who work directly with a national client base" and were asked to pick their top five state choices in 14 site selection categories.

Over the past year, 172 companies have expanded in Florida, creating over 25,000 jobs with a total capital investment of more than $1.9 billion.
