Florida Lottery Readying Kickoff of Gators and Seminoles Tickets

As college football players in Gainesville and Tallahassee get ready for the upcoming season, the Florida Lottery will unveil lottery tickets next week featuring the Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles. On Tuesday, the Lottery announced it will launch the $50,000 Gridiron Cash scratch-off tickets next Tuesday.

We are thrilled to show our support for both the Seminoles and the Gators, said state Lottery Secretary Cynthia OConnell on Tuesday. This game gives us the unique opportunity not only to show support for college football in Florida, but also to generate funds for the universities and students through ticket sales, which are estimated to generate more than $5.5 million to Floridas Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.

The tickets will be sold from Aug. 13 until Nov. 4 and offer more than $20 million in cash prizes, including 10 x $50,000 prizes and a second-chance promotion.
