Florida Leaders Prepared to Respond to Supreme Court's Obamacare Ruling
As the nation awaits the Supreme Court decision on the future of President Barack Obamas health-care reform law, Florida officials behind the opposition have blocked time to respond.
The court is expected to release its ruling after 10 a.m.
Bill Herrle, executive director of the National Federation of Independent Business-Florida, will hold a conference call with reporters at noon, just as Gov. Rick Scott is also expected to address the media in the Cabinet room of Florida's Capitol.
The office for Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced she will also hold a media availability at the Capitol starting around 12:10 p.m. (The time has been updated since this item was first posted. JT)
With Florida behind the wheel, the initial complaint to the Affordable Care Act was filed by 13 states and later joined by 13 additional states and the NFIB.
