The Florida House Rolls Out New Web Page
The Florida House of Representatives has updated its Web page -- MyFloridaHouse.gov -- to allow the public to more easily track the issues they care about during the upcoming session.
We are pleased to unveil a new online home for the Florida House of Representatives, House Speaker Dean Cannon, R-Winter Park, stated in a release. We are confident the new, user-friendly site design will enable the various constituencies we serve to more quickly access information they need to learn about and track the business of the House.
A release from the House stated that improvements to the site were made based on user feedback.
Among the new features:
-- More content. A slider on the main page featuring the latest information about whats happening in the Florida House of Representatives.
-- Simplified page layout. Find what you are looking for in fewer clicks and with an easier-to-use navigation bar.
-- Smarter social media integration. Floridians can now watch embedded YouTube videos and have easier access to the Florida Houses Facebook and Twitter accounts.
-- New member-pages.Find out more about your representative, view pictures and see what bills they are working on.
-- Bill tracking throughout the site. The new site contains tabs on the right- and left-hand side of every page for easier access to the bill search-and-tracking tools.
