Florida Gubernatorial Appointments Made in the Prior Week
Gov. Rick Scott made appointments to the following boards in the past week:
District Board of Trustees, Brevard Community College; District Board of Trustees, South Florida Community College; District Board of Trustees, Seminole State College of Florida; Florida Real Estate Commission; Board of Accountancy; Board of Architecture and Interior Design; and Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board.

Gov. Rick Scott announced the reappointment of Stephen G. Charpentier and the appointment of Moses L. Harvin Sr. to the District Board of Trustees, Brevard Community College.
Charpentier, 55, of Merritt Island, has been an attorney at Charpentier Law Firm PA since 2009. Previously, he practiced with Childress and Charpentier PA from 1989 to 2009. Charpentier serves on the board of directors for the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts and served as vice chair of the 18th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission from 2008 to 2010. Charpentier received a bachelors degree from the University of Central Florida and a law degree from Florida State University. He is reappointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2015.
Harvin, 58, of Melbourne, has been the president and chief executive officer of American Services Technology Inc. since 1994. Previously, he served in the United States Army from 1975 to 1994. Harvin received bachelors degrees from Claflin University and Webster University. He succeeds Dedra Sibley and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2015.

Gov. Rick Scott announced the following reappointment and appointments to the District Board of Trustees, South Florida Community College.
Tamela Tami C. Cullens, 52, of Sebring, has been a payroll clerk for Glisson Animal Supply since 2009 and a registration clerk for Sebring International Raceway since 2006. Between 1995 and 2000, she served as a temporary judicial assistant to a Highlands County Court judge. A 14-year member of the South Florida Community College Foundation, she has also served as a trustee for Webber International University. Cullens received a bachelors degree from Webber International University. She is reappointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2014.
Derren J. Bryan, 39, of Bowling Green, has been the general manager and information technology director for Albritton Insurance Services LLC since 2006. From 2000 to 2008, he was president of Net-Pro Professional Networking Solutions Inc. From 1997 to 2007, he taught science and coached at Hardee Senior High School, and from 1995 to 1996 he taught and coached at Port Charlotte Senior High School. His community involvement includes the Hardee County Chamber of Commerce, the Hardee Athletic Foundation, the Hardee County Economic Development Authority and the Healthy Start Coalition of Hardee, Highlands and Polk Counties Inc. Bryan received a bachelors degree from Western State College of Colorado. He succeeds Richard Maenpaa and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2015.
Kenneth A. Lambert, 51, of Wauchula, is the vice president of enterprise solutions for Knowledge-Based Marketing Group. Previously, he was a senior vice president for Merrill Corp. from 2009 to 2011, a self-employed marketing services consultant 2007 to 2009, senior vice president of Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing from 1989 to 2007 and vice president and officer with First Union National Bank from 1983 to 1989. Lambert served as a commissioner of the city of Wauchula from 2004 to 2009 and as mayor from 2000 to 2004. Lambert received an associate degree from South Florida Community College and a bachelors degree from the University of Florida. He succeeds Gary DeLatorre and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2014.
Lana C. Puckorius, 66, of Avon Park, is a retired certified financial planner. Previously, she was president of Puckorius and Associates Inc. from 1987 to 2009. She has served as president and a board member of the South Florida Community College Foundation. She succeeds Anne Reynolds and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2015.
Kris Y. Rider, 60, of Lake Placid, has been a bookkeeper for Michael A. Rider PA since 1981. She is a past president and member of Scholarship Recognition Inc. of Highlands County and received an associate degree from South Florida Community College. She succeeds Joan Hartt and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2014.
Patrick Joe Wright, 55, of Avon Park, has been the president of V&W Farms of Delray Beach since 1988 and president and board chairman of Southeast Milk Inc. since 1997. From 2007 to 2009, he served as a councilman for the city of Avon Park. A member of the board of directors of the National Milk Producers Federation and the Dairy Cooperative Marketing Association Inc. since 1997, he has been a member of the board of managers for Gustafsons LLC and NAD LLC since 2004 and 2005, respectively. He was director and vice president of Florida Dairy Farmers from 1992 to 2010. Wright received bachelors, Master of Business Administration and law degrees from the University of Florida. He succeeds David Leidel and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2015.

Gov. Rick Scott announced the appointment of Jeffrey M. Bauer to the District Board of Trustees, Seminole State College of Florida.
Bauer, 42, of Casselberry, has been an insurance agent with Admin Insurance Group since 2004 and consultant with BMJ Consulting LLC since January. Previously, he served as chief of staff to the Sanford City Commission from 2001 to 2004. Bauer currently serves on the Seminole County Charter Review Commission. From 2007 to 2011, he served on the Seminole Soil and Water Conservation Board and on the Seminole County Contractors Examiners Board from 2000 to 2002. Bauer received an associate degree from Seminole Community College and bachelors degree from Stetson University. He succeeds State Rep. Christopher Dorworth and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending May 31, 2014.

Gov. Rick Scott announced the reappointment of Roger P. Enzor and the appointment of Poul Hornsleth to the Florida Real Estate Commission.
Enzor, 76, of Pensacola, is a managing broker at Prudential Florida Realty. He is reappointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending Oct. 31, 2015.
Hornsleth, 68, of Gulfport, is the president and principal broker of R.W. Caldwell Realty. He succeeds Ralph J. McCoig and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending Oct. 31, 2014.

Gov. Rick Scott announced the reappointments of Cynthia D. Borders-Byrd and Maria E. Caldwell to the Board of Accountancy.
Borders-Byrd, 53, of Lauderhill, is a managing member of C Borders-Byrd CPA LLC. She is reappointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending Oct. 31, 2015.
Caldwell, 45, of Miami, is the audit director at Deloitte and Touche LLP. She is reappointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending Oct. 31, 2015.

Costoya, 51, of Plantation, is the founder and principal of Frank Costoya Architect PA. He is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending Oct. 31, 2014.

Gov. Rick Scott announced to the appointment of Clayton B. Ketcham to the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board.
Ketcham, 59, of Tallahassee, is the president of Ketcham Appraisal Group Inc. He is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 8, 2011, and ending Oct. 31, 2014.
