Florida gives all 50 Delegate Votes to Mitt Romney
Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll read the states delegate county during the roll call of states at the Republican National Convention at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, declaring all 50 voting delegates going for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney to be the Republican Partys nominee.
Carroll asked for a moment of silence for those impacted and to be impacted by Hurricane Isaac.
Florida is the Sunshine State, well most times, Carroll said.
I am Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll, proud home of Gov. Rick Scott, who has shown American that Florida knows how to prepare and respond to hurricanes, and provide hospitality to our visitors.
Florida is also proud to have been the home to Gov. Romneys first major state primary victory, the proud home to the convention that will nominate Gov. Romney for President and proud home to the 29 electoral votes that will put Gov. Romney over the top in November when we make him President Romney.
