Florida Democrats and Allison Tant Fall in Line Behind George Sheldon

Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Allison Tant weighed in on Monday after former DCF Secretary George Sheldon announced he was running for that partys nomination to challenge state Attorney General Pam Bondi.

I am pleased that George Sheldon has entered the race for attorney general, Tant said. For the past three years, Attorney General Pam Bondi has put her political career over the needs of Florida families.

Tant also parroted Sheldons line about a lack of integrity in Bondis office.

It is time to restore integrity to the office of attorney general, Tant said. George Sheldons lifetime of experience fighting for families at every level of government makes him a strong candidate for attorney general, and Florida voters would restore integrity and honor to the office of attorney general by electing him.
