Florida Congressional Races Ranked as Competitive by Cook Report

The Cook Political Report released its look at the 2014 congressional races across the nation and included six races in Florida as some of their most competitive contests.

Two Democratic freshmen from the Sunshine State -- U.S. Rep. Joe Garcia and U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy -- are both listed in tossup races. Facing a challenge from Democrat Gwen Graham, Republican U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland is in a race that Leans Republican. Democrat U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel is in a race that Leans Democratic while U.S. Rep. Dan Webster and U.S. Rep. Bill Young are in contests that Lean Republican.
