Florida Ag Officers Bust Two ‘Kronik’ Haulers
Two men were arrested in Hamilton County Tuesday after they failed to stop at an inspection station and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services law enforcement officers found more than 500 pounds of synthetic marijuana in their truck.
According to a department release, Morad Abdelkahliq Allan and Saleh Payez Soboh were traveling north in a small U-Haul Truck along I-75 near the Georgia state line when Officer Chris McGauley stopped them for failing to stop at an Agriculture Inspection Station.
Inside the vehicle, was found 29 large black bags each filled with individually packaged synthetic marijuana, approximately 5,000 grams each, labeled Kronik according to a photo released by the department.
The contents of each bag, which Soboh told officers they were taking from Tampa to Illinois, had a retail value of $10, putting the entire loads value at $2,267,950, according to the department.
Booked into the Hamilton County Jail, Allan and Soboh were both charged with trafficking controlled substance.
