First Obama 'Positive' Ad of the 2012 Campaign, Right Here
From Politico on Monday comes news of President Obama's first positive paid TV ad of the 2012 campaign. It's a 60-second piece titled "Go" and it's set to run on stations across Florida early this week. Check it out below.
This is the ad that David Axelrod hinted on ABC Sunday was on its way. The last 40 seconds evoke an uplifting mix of Ronald Reagan's "It's Morning Again in America" ad and Clint Eastwood's "It's halftime, America" spot from the Super Bowl. How well this will sit with Americans who had that hope four years ago and still wait for the president's promises to be fulfilled ... that's the question.
The ad will also run in Colorado, North Carolina, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
