Firefighters Group Backs Sandy Adams for Congress

Rep. Sandy Adams, R-Oviedo, announced on Thursday that her challenge to Democratic U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas was being backed by Brevard County Professional Firefighters, Local 2969.

It is a true honor to be endorsed by the Brevard County firefighters, said Adams. As someone who served in the law enforcement community for many years, I can tell you that our firefighters are some of the hardest-working people I know, and that they put their lives on the line for their friends and neighbors each day. Having the grass-roots endorsement of our local firefighters means a lot to me and is a positive sign that my campaign of lower taxes, limited government and a focus on job creation is really resonating with Floridians.
