Fellow Gamer, Not Ted Yoho, Behind Jake Rush Role-Playing Story

Republican congressional candidate Jake Rushs campaign continues to reel in the aftermath of revelations about his dark-themed role-playing hobby. Rushs role-playing garnered national attention this week. Rush is running against U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., in the Republican primary.

After details and photos emerged about Rushs hobby, his campaign team pushed back, insisting the Yoho campaign was behind it and insisting they did not try to scrub or remove details of his role-playing from the Web. The Gainesville Sun is now reporting that a fellow gamer was behind giving the media the information (as Sunshine State News reported on Tuesday) and Yoho was not behind it.

Rush also told the Sun that he did, in fact, try to scrub his role-playing.
