Fasano, Legg, Corcoran Announce 2011 Farm Share Giveaway

Sen. Mike Fasano, R-New Port Richey, Reps. John Legg, R-New Port Richey, and Richard Corcoran, R-Port Richey, have announced the 2011 Farm Share Holiday Food Giveaway will be held Dec. 16.

The annual giveaway of fresh food donated by Florida farmers will be held at the Redeemer Community Church, 9230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey.

We are once again blessed to work with farmers throughout Florida to provide food at this special time of the year, Fasano stated in a release. When so many Floridians are hurting, it is wonderful to see our community come together to serve others.

Between 400 and 500 families are expected to be provided enough for a full holiday dinner.
