Florida Senate President-designate Mike Haridopolos, R-Merritt Island, may have failed to fully disclose his financial interests from 2004 to 2008, according to a report from the Florida Commission on Ethics.
"The Commission found probable cause to believe that Mike Haridopolos, member of the Florida Senate, failed to fully disclose his financial interests for the years 2004-2008," the report says.
The report could ruin any hopes Haridopolos had of starting in his new role with a clean slate.
The Commission also cleared Rep. Ron Saunders, D-Key West, of submitting false travel reimbursements to the state.
