El-Al Meeting, Ambassador's Reception on Scott's Israel Schedule

Gov. Rick Scott tweeted that he was on the sacred Mount of Olives on Monday.

Scott is leading a 48-member delegation in Tel Aviv as part of the weeklong mission to Israel that was put together by Florida Enterprise.

According to Scotts schedule, among his events today were: meetings with El-Al Airlines, the Arison Group and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro; and participating in a panel discussion at the David Tel Aviv Intercontinental Hotel on the Future of the U.S. Economy and 2012 Elections.

Shapiro was to later hold a reception for the Florida Enterprise trade mission delegates at the U.S. ambassadors residence.

Senate President Mike Haridopolos, R-Merritt Island, who is part of the delegation, has been providing updates on the mission to Florida Today.
