Dwight Bullard Backs Challenger to Daphne Campbell

Florida Sen. Dwight Bullard, D-Cutler Bay, is backing a primary challenger to state Rep. Daphne Campbell, D-Miami Shores. On Monday, Bullard endorsed Michael Hepburn who is challenging Campbell.

Michael Hepburn has demonstrated a clear commitment toward making his community better, said Bullard. He is energetic and hard-working. He has the skills to effectively represent our constituents and he has what it takes to become a leader in the Florida House.

Its hard to think of a better person to have the support of, said Hepburn. State Sen. Bullard understands how important it is for us to create a pathway to success for all of our children, because he stands on the front lines and fights for us every day, he is a difference maker.

Campbell has been facing ethics questions during her current term. She is also an opponent of abortion and has pitted herself against the Democratic leadership on the issue.
