Donald Trump Launches TV Ad in Early States

Businessman Donald Trump unveiled his first TV ad on Monday as he continues his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.

Trump will spend at $2 million a week in the coming weeks including penciling in $1.1 million to be spent in Iowa, home of the first caucus, and almost $1 million in New Hampshire which hosts the first primary. The ad focuses on Trump’s call for tougher action on illegal immigrant and his opposition to the Democrats.

“I am leading in every poll by wide, double digit margins,” Trump said. “We have tremendous crowds, incredible support from all over the country and I am $35 million dollars under budget. We have spent the least amount of money and have the best results and this is the kind of thinking the country needs. I am very proud of this ad, I don’t know if I need it, but I don’t want to take any chances because if I win we are going to ‘Make America Great Again.’”

The ad can be seen here.
