Detailed Look at Crist's Judicial Record on Abortion
John Stemberger, president of the Florida Family Policy Council (FFPC), and Christopher Miller, an intern at the FFPC and a student at the Ave Maria School of Law, penned an article about Gov. Charlie Crists record on the judiciary andright-to-life. Originally published by Americans United for Life, their article Abortion Jurisprudence and Crists Conflicted Court was run by the venerable Human Life Review, the pro-life magazine of the Human Life Foundation.
After examining the four justices that Governor Crist has place on the Supreme Court of Florida, combined with the three left-leaning judges that were appointed by the late Governor Chiles, it seems that once againthe conservatives on the court simply do not have the majority, wrote Stemberger and Miller. The piece closes with a quote from Marco Rubio -- the Republican running in the U.S. Senate race in which Crist runs without party affiliation.
