Despite Working with Diebel, Bridges Backs Craig Miller

Despite having served with Republican congressional candidate Karen Diebel on the Winter Park City Commission, Margie Bridges announced today that she will be supporting one of Diebels rivals for the GOP nod. Bridges is backing Craig Miller, former CEO of Ruths Chris Steakhouse.

Bridges even alluded to her service with Diebel in her statement backing Miller. "Having met all three of the frontrunners, and having worked with one of them, I believe that Craig Miller is the best candidate to take on Rep. Suzanne Kosmas," said Bridges. "I believe he is the best chance to return conservative leadership and fiscal stewardship to District 24."

"I am truly grateful to Commissioner Bridges for her endorsement, said Miller. Her conservative record of fiscal discipline and common sense governance served the citizens of Winter Park well."
