U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross, R-Fla., part of the Republican leadership as senior deputy majority whip, slammed President Barack Obama for vetoing the Keystone XL Pipeline on Tuesday.
It is unacceptable that President Obama continues to obstruct the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline," Ross said. This project has broad bipartisan support, not only within the halls of Congress, but also across the country. It will create tens of thousands of jobs and reduce our dependence on foreign energy. By vetoing this legislation, the president has put his political agenda before the needs of everyday Americans.
