Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Holy Pants-On-Fire!

Even Democrat-friendly PolitiFact Florida set a match to Debbie Wasserman Schultz's pants over her bizarre defense of Barack Obama's military threat to Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.

The National Democratic Party chairwoman told CNN that Obama has more support for his Syria initiative than George W. Bush had for the Iraq War.

In fact, Wasserman Schultz said the United States "stood alone in the war in Iraq."

She might want to tell that to the 318 families of multinational coalition troops who died in Iraq -- then duck for cover.

It probably hurt like the dickens to do it, but PolitiFact gave Wasserman Schultz a quick, uncomplicated "Pants On Fire" rating for that one

"She's making a really poor comparison here," PolitiFact's Angie Holan explained. "The support that Bush had in Iraq was on par and arguably exceeds what Obama had on Syria."
