Debbie Wasserman Schultz Continues on Dem Leadership Team

While South Florida U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz was not named to lead the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, she ended up with two leadership positions in the House.

On Thursday, Wasserman Schultz was named vice chairwoman of the House Democrats Steering and Policy Committee. She was also tapped by Nancy Pelosi to another tenure as chief Democratic whip.

I am honored to have the support and confidence of my Democratic colleagues, said Wasserman Schultz. I look forward to working hard on behalf of my constituents and the caucus as we continue our work to turn the economy around and improve the lives of every American family.
