DCCC Doesn't Include Florida Republicans in Top Congressional Targets

Roll Call obtained an email with the top targets of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in the weeks to come -- and not one of the 17 incumbent Republicans is from Florida. With the congressional recess here, the DCCC will be ramping up the attacks on the Republican congressmen as they look to win back the House in 2014.

But, while Democrats have high hopes for picking up a seat or two in the Sunshine State, not a single incumbent from Florida is on the list. National Democrats are already starting to pay attention to Gwen Graham, the daughter of former Gov. Bob Graham, as she looks to defeat U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, R-Fla., and they are also looking to target the seat of U.S. Rep. Bill Young, R-Fla., if he retires.
