David Jolly Comes Out Swinging at Hillary Clinton's VA Comments

U.S. Rep. David Jolly, R-Fla., came out swinging at former U.S. Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, the favorite for the Democratic presidential nomination, accusing her of downplaying the problems at the VA when she appeared on MSNBC's "Rachel Maddow's Show” on Friday night. 

Jolly is running for the U.S. Senate in 2016. 

"Mrs. Clinton's remarks are a direct affront to every man and woman who has defended our freedom and security," Jolly said on Saturday. "Make no mistake, veterans lost their lives because of a VA system fraught with bureaucratic negligence, mismanagement, and abuse.  Trying to downplay this atrocity is inexcusable and outright insulting."
