David Alan Gore Set for Execution Today in Stark

Unless there is a last-minute halt by the U.S. Supreme Court today, David Alan Gore will be executed by lethal injection at 6 p.m. at Florida State Prison in Stark.

Gore, tied to the murder of four teens and two women in the Vero Beach area nearly three decades ago, is set to die for the death of 17-year-old Lynn Elliott.

Gov. Rick Scott signed the warrant for Gore on Feb. 28.
