Darren Soto Backed by Eva Longoria's PAC

Latino Victory Fund, a PAC founded by actress Eva Longoria, announced on Tuesday it was backing state Sen. Darren Soto, D-Kissimmee, in the race to replace U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., in 2016. 

Cristóbal Alex, the president of Latino Victory Fund, praised Soto on Tuesday, pointing to his record of support giving illegals in-state tuition and on other issues. 

“We are proud to endorse state Senator Darren Soto for Congress,” Alex said. “Darren has been a champion for Latinos in Florida, and has worked tirelessly to expand opportunities for all, including the immigrant community. We look forward to working to get Darren elected.”
