Craig Miller Releases 2nd Quarter Financial Report

Running in a Republican primary to take on U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas, former Ruth's Chris CEO Craig Miller announced on Wednesday morning that he had raised more than $272,000 in the second quarter of 2010 and has more than $325,000 in the bank.

"I believe that we are building a lot of momentum heading into the final stretch," said Miller. "We have an aggressive get-out-the-vote strategy and our resources will allow us to continue to communicate our positive message based on sound conservative principles of fiscal restraint, growing our economy, and creating jobs. The voters understand that I am the best person to do that because I am a businessman and it is what I have been doing all of my life. Congress has let us down and it's time to give the power back to the voters to elect someone who shares their values. We intend to reach them through TV, radio, Internet, and in their mailbox."

"Craig's message of being a political outsider, a Vietnam veteran, and a businessman is really resonating throughout the district, said Miller spokesman Jon Miller (no relation). Voters are saying they are tired of career politicians. It's time for a businessman from the restaurant industry to write a new menu for Washington."
