Congressman Ted Yoho Rebukes Obama Gun Grab Plans

Congressman Ted Yoho, R-Fla., has issued the following statement following President Obamas controversial Wednesday press conference:

Following the presidents remarks today, I am convinced more than ever that we must protect our Second Amendment rights. While I agree with President Obamas message that we must curb gun violence and protect our citizens, disregarding our constitutional rights is the wrong way to go. Prior to signing 23 executive orders and pushing for unconstitutional legislation in Congress, I would encourage the president to enforce the laws already on the books.

As a proud gun owner, I believe that our right to bear arms is a birthright and I will oppose any effort to infringe on our guaranteed constitutional rights.

Yoho represents North Central Floridas 3rd Congressional District.
