Isn't it charming to remember when all we had to worry about from a Democratic president was who he was getting his pizza from? Whatever the man's flaws, he was stymied on health care, turned to the center when political common sense called for it, and showed the world that when we said we were going to bomb a genocidal thuggery, we would.

Now we have a guy who rammed through an unpopular health-care law that's almost certain to be overturned in the courts, veers ever further to the left -- especially on abortion -- when every shred of evidence would caution otherwise, and doesn't believe in winning wars, just ending them -- prematurely at that.
