Citizens United: Ron DeSantis is 'Principled Conservative Leader' in Senate Race

Conservative Citizens United Political Victory Fund (CUPVF) PAC doubled down on its support of U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., come 2016 even as U.S. Rep. David Jolly, R-Fla., entered the race on Monday and Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera joined last week. 

“Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera and Congressman David Jolly are now official candidates, but that doesn’t change who’s the best candidate to take on and reform a broken Washington,” said Citizens United President David Bossie on Monday. “That candidate is still Congressman Ron DeSantis.

“When it comes to pro-growth economics, national security, and our shared conservative values, Citizens United Political Victory Fund is proud to stand with Ron DeSantis,” Bossie added And going forward, no matter who else may get into the primary contest for U.S. Senate, Congressman Ron DeSantis is and will remain the principled conservative leader in the field.”
