Charlie Crist Rides School Bus Across State for Education Tour

The wheels on the bus go round and round as they carry former Gov. Charlie Crist on a three-day statewide tour focused on restoring cuts to Florida's education system.

Crist kicked off his "Restore the Cuts" tour in Tallahassee on Wednesday, where he will ride around in a school bus, vowing to restore $1.3 billion in public school funding he says was slashed as a result of Gov. Rick Scott.

"We dont have a revenue problem," Crist said in Tallahassee. "We have a priority problem. The priority needs to be education."
Crist also attacked the governor for cuts to the Bright Futures scholarship program.

You know the disappointment that Rick Scott has been, said Crist. Hes cut so much from education $1.3 billion. There's no way you can do that and have a bright future for Florida."

The bus tour will make stops in Jacksonville Wednesday, Orlando andTampaon Thursday, and will end in Miami on Friday.
