Charlie Crist Bashed by RPOF on Obamacare
The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) launched an attack on former Gov. Charlie Crist on Monday, trying to link him to President Barack Obamas federal health-care law. Despite joining the Democrats in 2012 after spending most of his political career as a Republican, Crist is the favorite for his new partys nomination to challenge Gov. Rick Scott in November.
"President Obama and Charlie Crist can talk all they want about higher wages and more jobs for Florida's middle class, said RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry on Monday. Yet Obamacare, which Charlie has fully embraced, is doing the exact opposite, shrinking paychecks and shrinking hours, hurting businesses' ability to create jobs. Floridians can't afford Obamacare and we can't afford Charlie Crist."
