Charlie Crist and Obama Jabbed by GOP For Raising Deficits

The Republican Governors Association (RGA) kept up its attacks on former Gov. Charlie Crist who announced last week he would challenge Gov. Rick Scott in 2014, this time as a Democrat. Crist was governor and served in two state Cabinet offices as a Republican.

President Barack Obama and Charlie Crist have so much in common. They share the same donkey logo, pander to the voters and just love running up deficits, said Gail Gitcho, the RGA communications director, on Thursday. For five consecutive years, President Obama has carelessly rung up historic deficits. While Crist was governor, he recklessly pushed for his own stimulus plan, pretending budget deficits didnt exist, leaving Florida adrift. When it comes to deficits, Obama and Crist are a couple of regular old red-ink buddies."
