Charles Bronson Announces Pet Store Investigations

Outgoing state Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles Bronson said on Tuesday that his team was going to investigate pet stores in December to ensure they are following regulations.
Pets bring a great deal of joy to families and are often a considerable investment, said Bronson. So its important to do business with a reputable pet store or dealer who knows and follows the law to avoid problems from occurring after a purchase of an animal.
Bronson and his team want to ensure that dogs and cats are at least eight weeks old before being sold and that they have been inspected by a veterinarian who fills out a state health certificate.
