Carroll, Holly Petraeus to Discuss Military Finances at Mayport

Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll will attend a pair of town hall-style meetings at the Mayport Naval Station in Jacksonville today with Holly Petraeus, the assistant director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and wife of CIA Director David Petraeus.

The meetings, at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., are part of Carrolls effort to see that military families receive strong financial education, the lieutenant governor's office stated in a release.

Its an honor and pleasure to welcome assistant director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Holly Petraeus, to Florida and I commend her work to help our military service members and their families, Carroll stated in a release.

As a retired Navy officer, I know well the sacrifices military families make to serve America. Thats why I am joining Mrs. Petraeus for this opportunity to hear directly from sailors, service members and their families as the state of Florida and our partners at the Department of Defense strive to best serve those who serve us.
