Carlos Curbelo Wants Obama to Take Action After Iran Tests Missiles

U.S. Rep. Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla., called for President Barack Obama to take action against Iran after reports emerged that it tested ballistic missiles last month in violation of UN resolutions. 

“The recent reports of Iran testing yet another ballistic missile, the second since the U.N. nuclear agreement was signed earlier this year, unfortunately comes as no surprise,” Curbelo said on Tuesday. “Iran’s blatant disrespect for the nuclear agreement in only the first few months of its enactment is cause for serious concern. The testing of these ballistic missiles serves as another example of the brash intentions of Iranian leadership; it is crucial the Obama administration address the breach of the two U.N. Security Council resolutions and hold Iran accountable.”
