Carl Domino: Patrick Murphy 'Nancy Pelosi's Favorite Congressman'

Former state Rep. Carl Domino is seeking the Republican nomination to challenge U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., next year. On Wednesday, Domino turned up the heat on Murphy and linked him to U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Our local Congressman Patrick Murphy, while trying to cast blame on everyone but himself and hiding behind feeble attempts at bipartisanship, is still a big part of the problem. He's not a part of the solution, Domino insisted in an email to supporters. Murphy says he seeks bipartisan solutions yet he's still a strong supporter of Nancy Pelosi's and Barack Obama's leadership of the liberal wing of the Democrat Party.

Domino hit Murphy for supporting President Barack Obamas federal health-care law and his foreign policy, including the real truth about Benghazi."

But Domino kept most of his focus on trying to link Murphy to Pelosi.

Murphy is still 100 percent behind Nancy Pelosi's leadership policies and direction for her acolytes in Congress -- and he is known as Nancy Pelosi's favorite congressman, Domino insisted. It's time for a change."
