Buddy Roemer Includes Florida Southern in College Tour

On Monday, Republican presidential hopeful former Gov. Buddy Roemer of Louisiana announced that he would be making a tour of colleges across the nation.

Most of the scheduled stops will be held at colleges in New Hampshire where Roemer has focused most of his efforts. He has already scheduled a stop in Florida with an appearance at Florida Southern College in Lakeland on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

The serious problems of high unemployment and skyrocketing debt we face as a nation continue to have the greatest impact on our young Americans, said Roemer in a statement on Monday. The fight against the corrupting influences of the big special-interest checks is about ensuring that no voice is drowned out. I am excited to speak to students about my plans to reform our political system and create jobs again.
