Bondi's Press Secretary Joining Florida Ports Council

Attorney General Pam Bondis press secretary is heading to the Florida Ports Council.

Jennifer Krell Davis will begin Jan. 2 as vice president of public affairs with the Ports Council, council president Doug Wheeler announced Tuesday.

Jennifers communications experience will be critical in educating Floridas leadership and the public about the immense economic benefits and opportunities regarding Floridas 15 seaports, Wheeler stated in a release.

Before serving in the attorney generals office, Davis was communications director and spokesperson for the secretary of state, handling all media activities for the 2008 and 2010 elections.

Davis has also served as communications director for the Florida Chamber of Commerce, special projects coordinator for The Florida Bar, and an attorney for the Florida House of Representatives.

She received her juris doctorate from the University of Florida and her bachelor of arts in English from Florida State University.
