Bill Posey Offers Federal Contracting Conference in Melbourne

U.S. Rep. Bill Posey, R-Rockledge, will host a federal contracting conference at the Womens Business Center at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne on Monday and Tuesday.

Poseys office advises business leaders currently doing business with the federal government to register for Mondays discussion, while those not engaged in business with the federal government, but hoping to do so, to register to attend on Tuesday.

This is the chance for government contractors to have one-on-one meetings with procurement representatives from Washington, D.C., and the Space and Treasure Coast to explore new contracting opportunities, Posey stated in a release.

The program is being coordinated with the Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, Army, FAA, NASA, Department of Homeland Security, SBA, TRDA, Womens Business Center at Florida Institute of Technology, Space Florida, Brevard Workforce, Economic Development Commission of Floridas Space Coast, Small Business Development Center at Brevard Community College and SCORE.
