Bill Nelson: I Hope Congress Takes Pope Francis' Words to Heart

U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., weighed in on Thursday on Pope Francis’ address to Congress earlier in the day. 

“I hope the pope made a lasting impression on the members of Congress,” Nelson said. “He emphasized that we, as elected officials, are the face of the American people. As such, we need to get more things done for the common good and less polarization.”
