Bernard Sansaricq Gets Newt Gingrich's Support

Republican congressional candidate Bernard Sansaricq, an overwhelming underdog to defeat Democratic U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings, unveiled the support of former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a possible Republican presidential candidate.

"As president of the Haitian Senate, Bernard Sansaricq proved that his loyalty lies only to the people that he represents, said Gingrich. "I have every confidence that he will continue this tradition of holding others above self in his service in the Congress."

Sansaricq continues launching spirited attacks Hastings' way and talking up his own chances.

Hastings is chewing Tums and Rolaids 24/7, wrote Sansaricq to supporters on Friday. The forces of darkness that he represents are going down on Tuesday. He is a paper tiger who tried to intimidate a brave like me.
