Armey: Tea Party Seeks 'Hostile Takeover' of GOP ... and That's a Good Thing

Praising Marco Rubio, and condemning Charlie Crist and Barack Obama, Freedomworks chairman Dick Armey delivered "A Tea Party Manifesto" today.

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Armey stated:

"Let us be clear about one thing: The tea party movement is not seeking a junior partnership with the Republican Party, but a hostile takeover of it."

Strong words from a former House GOP leader, and a signal of attacks to come this fall against "big spenders" like Crist.
